Muse Asia began streaming the Black Butler: Book of the Atlantic (Kuroshitsuji: Book of the Atlantic) anime film based on Yana Toboso's Black Butler manga on Saturday.

The film opened in Japan in January 2017. Crunchyroll is also streaming the film in India.

The film adapts the "Gōka Kyakusen" (luxury liner) arc, which appeared in the 11th through 14th volumes of Toboso's original Black Butler manga.

Noriyuki Abe directed the anime at A-1 Pictures, and Hiroyuki Yoshino wrote the script. Minako Shiba designed the characters and served as chief animation director. Yasunori Mitsuda composed the music. The staff members all returned from the earlier Book of Circus and Book of Murder anime, and A-1 Pictures and Shiba have been involved in the franchise since the first Black Butler anime. SID performed the film's theme song "Glass no Hitomi" (Glass Eye).

Black Butler: Public School Arc, the latest television anime in the franchise, premiered in Japan on April 13. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime in India as it airs in Japan. Crunchyroll added its English dub on April 28 and its Hindi dub on May 5. The company is also streaming all seasons of the Black Butler anime that adapt Toboso's manga. The first anime premiered in Japan in 2008, and Black Butler II followed in 2010. Black Butler: Book of Circus premiered in 2014. Crunchyroll describes the anime franchise:

Ciel Phantomhive is the most powerful boy in all of England, but he bears the scars of unspeakable suffering. Forced to watch as his beloved parents were brutally murdered, Ciel was subsequently abducted and violently tortured. Desperate to end his suffering, the boy traded his own soul for a chance at vengeance, casting his lot with the one person on whom he could depend: Sebastian, a demon Butler summoned from the very pits of hell. Together, they'll prowl the darkest alleys of London on a mission to snuff out those who would do evil.
