posted on by Andrew Osmond

The set is described as follows:
"On the fateful night of October 31st, a Curtain falls upon Shibuya. Geto and his cursed alliance are waiting to spring their trap when Gojo storms in, as Itadori and other Jujutsu Sorcerers gather outside the Curtain. Will humans or Curses laugh in the end."

"Academy City is now open to the public for the Daihasei Festival, an esper school athletic competition. It's not just the games that have Misaka and her friends fired up. Soon, secret organizations and a doppelganger begin showing up on their radar."

The battle fantasy is set in a world where a demonic gate has unleashed monsters known as Shūki. A special peach tree is able to give special powers, but only to women. The story begins when a down-on-his-luck boy named Yūki Wakura meets Uzen Kyōka, a girl who has gained the power of the peach, and is the captain of the 7th Anti-Demon Squad.
Junji Nishimura (Ranma ½) was the anime's general director. Gorō Kuji (Bungo and Alchemist -Gears of Judgement-) directed the anime at Seven Arcs (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, White Album, Trinity Seven). Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) handled the series composition, and Ryota Kanō and Akira Kindaichi (Bakugan Battle Planet) wrote the script. Hiroyuki Yoshii (Tawawa on Monday) designed the characters.

"The Magical Kingdom of Klyrode summons hundreds of heroes from other worlds every year to fight in their war against the Dark One and his army of powerful demons. Banaza is one of those heroes, summoned from the Royal Capital Paluma, but something's not right—Banaza is only an average merchant. He has no magic, no fighting ability, and his stats are abysmal. Worse, a mishap leaves him unable to return home.
"Rejected as a hero and stranded in another world, abandoned to the far reaches of the kingdom by a cruel king who just wants him gone, Banaza's fate looks pretty bleak. But what will happen once the failed hero candidate finds himself with super cheat powers once he hits level two?"
Yoshiaki Iwasaki (Hayate the Combat Butler, We Never Learn: BOKUBEN) directed the anime at J.C.STAFF. Megumi Shimizu (Banished From The Heroes' Party, My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!) was in charge of the series scripts, and Sōta Suwa (Combatants Will Be Dispatched!) designed the characters. Kujira Yumemi (Kubo Won't Let Me Be Invisible, Reign of the Seven Spellblades) composed the music, and Pony Canyon was in charge of music production. Dialogue+ performed the ending theme song "Utopia Gaku-Gairon" (Introduction to Utopian Studies).
