London MCM Comic Con Will Run From Next Friday To Sunday

The MCM Comic Con event in London, will run from Friday October 24 to Sunday October 26 at the ExCel Centre in the Docklands.

Anime-related events will include an Anime Guest of Honour appearance by Fūga Yamashiro, director of DAN DA DAN. He will appear from 3.45 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. on the Main Stage on Friday October 24.

According to the website description of the event, "Join Fûga Yamashiro, Director of DAN DA DAN, for a deep-dive into the twisty turny world of Momo and Okarun. Take a look behind the scenes of the latest season's horror rom-com mash-up, hear their experiences of the world of Anime, and how these influenced their work on the much-loved show."

As well as directing both TV seasons of DAN DA DAN, Yamashiro was the Assistant Director and Unit Director on Masaaki Yuasa's film INU-OH. He also has storyboard and episode director credits on Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, Tatami Time Machine Blues and The Heike Story.

There will also be appearances from three Demon Slayer dub actors, Zach Aguilar: who voices Tanjiro, Abby Trott, who voices Nezuko and Griffin Burns, who voices Muichiro Tokito.

They will appear on all three days of the event, including a joint appearance on a panel on the Live Stage on the Sunday at 12.15 p.m. They will also be available for autographs and photo opps.

Zach Aguilar (pictured right) also voices David in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Levius in Levius, Genos in One-Punch Man, Otto in Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- and Slaine in Aldnoah.Zero,

Abby Trott also voices Momo Ayase in DAN DA DAN, Ichi in Mob Psycho 100, Shizuka in Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead and Riko in Kuroko's Basketball,

Griffin Burns' other voice roles include Akira in DEVILMAN crybaby, Ryota in Kakegurui, Canute in the Netflix dub of Vinland Saga and Geordo in My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! Hie is also the songwriter and lead singer of LA alternative / pop rock band New New Girlfriend, alongside another anime dub actor, Kylen Deporter.

In addition, Crunchyroll will host two screenings at the Capital Stage on Sunday: the first episodes of One-Punch Man Season 3 (11 a.m.) and My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON (12 noon).
