Trinity Con 2004 Press Release

Convention Enterprises is pleased announce the return of Trinitycon, sponsored by Palladium Games, Code Monkey Publishing, Reaper Miniatures, Masquerade Games, and Dark Duality Productions. The convention will be held at the Holiday Inn Southfield from Friday, October 1, through Sunday, October 3, 2004. Trinitycon is a convention for people interested in role-playing games, collectible card games, anime, and comic books. This will be the convention's second year.

This year Trinitycon features several special guests. Kevin Siembida, creator of the Palladium line of gaming products, will be running a game in his native state of Michigan for the first time in fifteen years. Local artist Susan Van Camp, of Magic: the gathering and Dragonstorm, will be on hand to display and discuss her art. Both Brad Swaile-the voice of Quatre Rabera in the anime Gundam Wing, Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler in the cartoon X-Men: Evolution, and many others-and Johnny Yong Bosch- popular anime voice actor, voice of Akira's Kaneda, Kiba from Wolf's Rain and former Saban Power Ranger-will be on hand for a panel discussion and to speak with fans. In addition to the above guests, the president of Hero Games, Darren Watts, and the president of Guardians of Order, Inc., Mark C. MacKinnon, will also be speaking on panels.

Events at the convention include a variety of role-playing games, including Amine LARP, Bakuretsu High School. The events include prize tournaments for such popular titles as Magic: the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!, in addition to a HeroClix tournament. There will be a room showing anime 24 hours a day for the duration of the convention and a "cosplay"- a costume contest for fans of anime and video games. A dealer room will be open to all convention-goers.
