The Legend Continues in the Latest Update for Shadowverse

New chapters added to the Main Story mode of smash-hit collectible card game

TOKYO – February 21, 2017 – Japanese game developer Cygames has announced that its hit collectible card game Shadowverse will receive an update to its single-player Main Story mode next week.

Since its launch in June last year, Shadowverse has established itself as Japan's leading digital collectible card game, and is at the forefront of Japan's burgeoning e-sports scene. It also boasts an extensive single-payer game that tells the story of seven disparate characters drawn together by the mysterious apparition known as the Morning Star.

Next week's update will add three new chapters to the main story for three of the in-game characters: Arisa, Erika, and Luna. Previously each of the three found themselves meeting the mysterious Nexus who promised to bring harmony to the world by opening up the Infinity Gate. Next week's update promises to reveal what lies beyond…

The update will also include various other minor additions and improvements, such as new difficulty settings for Practice mode and adjustments to a couple of cards (Piercing Rune and Goblin Mage).

For more information, check out the in-game announcement – and be sure to download the app update when it is released via Steam, the App Store, and Google Play next week.
