lol Well, first of all: props to the avid fangirl haters (not that I specifially mind yaoi/BL, whatever, but y'know). And as for whoever said they'd avoid the dub just cuzz Vic's in it... yeeeeeaaah. You're deprivin' yourself of a (hopefully) great dub. Oh well. Your loss. Anyhoo, I didn't know Colleen helped with the FMA directing. *d'oh* That's really cool. I loved that show, such a fantastic dub. But anyway, I'm not sure if I've heard Carrie Savage's voice before. Can you tell me some note-worthy stuff she's been in? As well as Kira Vincent Davis? Thanks. Last edited by Ashen Phoenix on Wed Feb 28, 2007 3:05 pm; edited 1 time in total |

You make me go WTF?! saying Hilary Haag is Matt Greenfield. She isn't. At least not according to the ANN Encyclopedia: Matt Greenfield's encyclopedia Entry: person#673 Hilary Haag's encyclopedia Entry: person#1065 There's no picture of Matt but I sort of doubt that Hilary is married to Tiffany Grant... |

Hilary Haag WITH Matt Greenfield directing, is what I mean...
Yeah... I think Princess Nine is OOP though... which would then be unfortunate given that I think that it's one of the best dubs ever produced (well, they had a lot of money left over because of how cheap the license was... well, that and Matt Greenfield REALLY liked the show, from what I hear... so a lot of effort went to it). Anyway, for Carrie Savage, I'd say... ... Damn, I can't think of anything right now... but check out Texhnolyze (where she plays Ran) or Haibane Renmei (where she plays... uhh.. Rakka was it?) As for Kira Vincent Davis, I'd have to go with her awesome performances as Lucy/Nyu in Elfen Lied... It wasn't exactly the best dub (lacked direction, I thought), but Kira was so dang awesome in the thing. |

A fairly notable role of Carrie is the gorgeous yet ditzy Hakufu in Ikki Tousen.

I was thinking about that too, but to be honest, the show is pretty friggin' stupid (though I still think that it had the potential to be the best porn ever). Anyway, just listen to Carrie's work with NGP (and yes... Ikki Tousen is actually one of them). |

Okay, ummm.... I AM SO SORRY! I misunderstood and now peoples are mad at me! I'm reeeeeeaaallly sorry I didn't understand it right. When you wrote, "through" and I went back and looked at it, I can see what it means. I don't know why I thought she would've played a guy, but well... I thought maybe the character was a kid and women do some boys' voices for anime cuzz the characters' voices wouldn't have 'cracked' yet so it doesn't have to be deep. (does that make any sense at all or am I just totally oblivious?) And, LydiaDianne, I'm sorry to you too. Errr... I'm a gonna go back now and edit out my stupidity. *shuffles away miserably* |

Vic won't be playing Watanuki btw... they said that at the panel. I forgot who is playing him though...
As for the Vic fans vs. Yaoi fangirls, I can't really pick sides, since I don't mind yaoi, but I'm not a fangirl, but some of my friends are, but Vic was too awesome as Ed for me to not like him. Does anyone know if the character Vic played in Angelic Layer (the announcer) appears in the Tsubasa anime? I know he's in the manga... I ask this because Vic seemed so certain at the panel that the character would not appear in the Tsubasa anime. |

Aw. Well, hopefully it'll be someone who can sound similarly spazzy and very slightly effeminate. |

Gotta say, I feel the same way. I mean, why's everybody getting so upset about? He's entitled to think and say whatever he wants, right? lol And yeah, his performance as Ed was so amazing... I doubt I could ever hate him.
Oh good! *phew* I really like you guys and I'd hate it if peoples started to dislike me or anything. /hug |

IS NGP mean "nongay porn"? Ikkit Tousen and it's manga, Battle Vixens, is maybe at most nearly soft core porn but not exactly. It's just extremely risque and quite crude.

Oh, no...
NGP actually stands for SEX... I mean that both litterally and non-literally... Yeah, sorry about that... I'll spell it out clearly next time... Anyway, NGP stands for New Generation Pictures; it's the studio that has graced us with a lot of wonderful dubs over the last few years (Texhnolyze, Hellsing, Paranoia Agent, ROD the TV, Haibane Renmei, etc.)... But yeah... just about everything that comes out of the place is pretty hawt. |

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
Why does Chris Sabat have to ruin everthing i hold dear? First vegeta, then well...actually i didn't care about alex louise armstrong....but he ruined a lotta great roles...and now MY FAVORITE CHARACTER EVER.. WWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH anyways i met him too, he was sooooo up himself.....this sucks...im so depressed now...the rest of the cast is fantastic..i wish it was announced 6 months ago so i coulda got vic to sign my fai stuff too.... OH forgot to mention...but i think the casting for vic as fai was a stroke of genius, who else to play the gay/fun guy? I love vic and when i met him i decided that he should play Fai, so im happy how it turned out...also the footage i shot of vics ass... priceless! (and he doesn't know i have it ) |
