Oh well - it *is* all about a wedding, after all

well... I didn't know that before.
I saw the ad again, during an episode of "Manhunt" (I think the guys were doing a Japanese commercial as a test).
The people at Life network have an interesting sense of humour...

Princess Mononoke was released by Miramax which is owned by Disney but is still its own company.

The only problem is with the syllable division. "Noss-ick-ah" is a bit different than "Noss-i-kah." There is also teh issue of whether you want to say "shi" or "si," but considering they are the same thing in Japanese it doesn't seem so important.

Well, I picked up Nausicaa yesterday and hear are answers to a couple questions here:
Can only do offer in US. Also DVDs have to be bought at stores in same state as you. As far as proofs of purchase go, there are small "tabs" on box above the UPC that are POP, very small and wont look to bad when cut out. Also Nausicaa (cant vouch for other two as I havn't seen them) comes in a slipcover that is same as DVD cover so it will look fine even after POP have been cut out. Hope that helps.

I bought all three and I there is no "pop" thing. You make it sound like you have to cut up the box but you don't. The proofs are on top of the Upc like you said but on the paper in the case. The slipcover will cover it up so it won't look bad.
