Looks like anime's answer to "Minority Report" is going to come to America. This is going to be a very interesting show. A very interesting show indeed.

The show was okay. The ending was kinda eh...

I'll buy this, if only to support Akira Amano's designs and nothing else.

I just hope they can get enough support/funding for a season 2.
You just don't get decent mature shows like this any more.

Just making sure: You do know that Funimation does not make Anime, right? They are a dubbing and distributing company. North American sales won't have any effect on whether a second season will be made. Only sales in Japan will determine it.

I was talking more in reference to Naoyoshi Shiotani's comments at Sakura-Con saying if the show gets enough support they could do a season 2. lol

Is it really good? I haven't watched a good anime in a long while and have been eyeing up this show since it looks in line with Stand Alone Complex.

The only thing it has in common with Stand Alone Complex is its visual style, and book citations. It is pulpier,it had completely different themes, and it is pretty meta.
I wouldnt want another season, since I think show ended perfectly.

Because Psycho Pass was popular while it was streaming? And calling this show crap and then asking for Is this Zombie? is hilarious.I thank you for laughs.

Because every circumstance is going to be unique. Why didn't we get more Outlaw Star, wasn't that supposed to be a big hit here too? And yet we did get the Cowboy Bebop and Trigun movies (eventually). That it can happen doesn't mean it will.

Technically we did get more Outlaw Star, in the form of Angel Links.

Now we all wish we hadn't.

From what I've heard (all rumors, BTW), the mangaka hated the anime production. Doesn't want any more made. No one wants to work with her.

on topic..... Yay! Psycho Pass. I hope Funi can eventually get it on Toonami.

and 2 million people watch my little pony every week, that makes ponies better.
exactly how did you prove psycho pass was not crap? Do you have any idea how many americans watch real housewives or that kardashian crap?
btw, tsuritama was so crappy I had to drop it half way.

anyway, my point is this, if they cannot get the old shows on blu-ray now, it is laughable that they are announcing blu-ray releases for NEXT year.

they are either trying to keep any psychopass hype alive for some reason, since the show is ending, or they have nothing good to announce for anything recent- which would also be bad.

if Kadokawa doesn't want to give them blu-ray rights, then there really isn't anything they can do

I'll probably still pick up Psycho Pass even though I thought the ending was a little lackluster.

As for Kore Wa Zombie Desuka not getting a Blu-Ray release is because they couldn't the rights for Blu-Ray. The Japanese licensor can withhold or sell their properties you can't blame funimation for that. Hell even if they got them they would be coming out right about now. I just hope they don't come out on Blu-Ray down the road then I would have to re-buy it once again.
