Any store in North America that orders from Diamond can get you a copy. Diamond Distributors is the primary distributor of Protoculture Addicts.
Pretty much every comic book and specialty store has an account with Diamond.

Neither really. Both maybe, depending on how you look at it.

We're going to take it easy with changes, and avoid making drastic changes off the bat. We will be expanding the amount of news coverage at the beginning of PA (only appropriate since it's "Anime News Network's Protoculture Addicts"). Further changes are being discussed for later issues, but we're going to put a lot of effort into seing what the readers like & want before making them.
Claude Pelletier will remain the editor-in-chief of Protoculture Addicts. Numerous contributors to PA will remain, but there will be some cross-over as well. You should see a good number of articles by ANN writers in future issues of Protoculture Addicts.
ANN itself will not be directly affected very much, although there will be opportunity for contributors to PA to write for ANN as well.

You make it sound like ANN doesn't pay the people that write for it.
Anyways, that's between me and them.

Nice, sounds like a win-win situation for both parties.

I'll have to head to my nearest comic store, the wonderful, Forbidden Planet (shameless plug!) to see if they can import the magazine. Although some imports they've tried have failed (haven't seen a Fangoria in a while...)
But I wish you the best of luck with the new venture.

Congrats guys. I have to look back into the Protoculture magazine.
So how is ANN going to contribute to Protoculture?
Are you guys going to compete against Newtype USA?
Here are some suggestions for improvements.
-Start printing all the pages of Protoculture in colour.
-Include extras that Newtype USA use to have.
-Include a real centerfold, not like the G-rated ones Newtype USA has been producing of late.
Good Luck

1) We are going to look into that, we need to increase subscripttion to make it possible though. We'll be looking into that after the 3rd episode or so...
2) DVD? Nope, not gonna happen.
3) I really don't think that's Protoculture Addicts....

nice job guys. Congrates.
These guys deserve to go to the next level.
I owe you guys a lot of helping me extend my career in the Anime Industry. I hope one of these days I can relaunch Otaku's Voice.
Do you know if you guys ship to Taiwan? IF not I'll ask my friends in Dayton to send me a copy.
Congratulations!!

Wow. I think its a really good idea. I stopped buying anime mags all together because it was a waste of money. I look forward to seeing what will happen with ANNs PA.
Do you think the mag might go monthly?

If the mathematics I learnt were correct, that means that I can suscribe to it paying 45 US $ and I'll recieve during a year the first six volumes of the magazine? And that includes the costs of sending the exemplars to Europe, to my house, and all? And, what if it's finally monthly?
I'd like to try it, by I'm kind of lost with buying something from America, hehe

Yep, a subscription to anyone is US$30. Internarnational Shipping charges for the subscription (all 6 issues) will be an additional US$15 for a total of US$45. Pretty cheap for an international mag subscription!
You can even use Paypal via PA's subscription webpage or order it via TRSI (same price). If you don't wanna do either you could always do an Intn'l money order and mail it to Quebec -_-"
