Just because it might be consensual in context doesn't mean it might not still cross a line with some people.

I have no doubt that the touching feature in games offend some people even when it is completely consensual since some people are offended by porn. I simply find it curious that some people think that ecchi games cross the line but are okay with games that are based on robbery and murder.

Pretty sure the PS4 version of DOA 6 has boob jiggle and don't recall anyone mentioning the remake of Skirting Shadows/ Burst having it's jiggle physics removed so......

There have been several game developers that have stated that they had to remove boob jiggle from their PS4 games which is even stated by Kenichirō Takaki in this article. The same thing happened to the PS4 version of Nekopara that was just released.

That's not the intent of this policy though in spite of some people repeatedly insisting that Sony is unfairly picking on the small well meaning japanese game publishers/developers.

There are several problems with having Sony employees in California deciding what is acceptable for games in Japan but the biggest problem is that the people behind the censorship don't care if they cause Japanese game developers to go bankrupt. The regulations were immediately enforced which caused games to be delayed and forced game developers to make changes on games that were almost complete so they were even implemented in a way that was meant to increase financial harm. I think the intent will become very clear the next time that Sony announces more regulations and it is a pity that Marvelous is going to learn this the hard way.
