Nobody does because the Discotek Media Blu-ray was delayed. I don't know why the header and side-bar image says it's available right now when the delay was announced back in March. It was originally slated for April 25th.

A small delay!

Gunbuster has been pushed back a month to May 30th.

A bit longer than planned, but hopefully still just as sweet once it arrives.

I got the BD earlier today and just finished watching it and it is definitely worth the purchase. Both the visuals and the audio receive high-quality upgrades and the new English dub is amazingly well-done. 'nuff said.

Just finished episode 6 on the OVA Blu-ray. Definitely worth it. I enjoyed the time dilation angle that got explored, and what I can believe are subtle anticipations of Evangelion (psychological subtext - Jung Freud!? C'mon... - and the biomechanical designs of the mecha and aliens).
