This was the one I was looking forward to most from the Disney+ acquisitions, but Hulu exclusive in the US???? The one service I DON'T have???????

Weekly uploads for a show that’s finished and the English dub is already finished and streaming in SEA is so weird to me. Just upload the show already…

So Tatami Time Machine Blues is on Disney+ in the US but Black Rock Shooter is on Hulu? Someone explain this reasoning to me.

Im not familiar with tatami, but maybe it's a content thing? More graphic violence or something? or they could have done a demographic analysis and figured anime people are more likely to watch on Hulu (which actually has a really robust anime library) rather than Disney + but tatami has some demographic overlap with other Disney peograming. It could also be a test to see if anime can do well on Disney plus proper

For Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall, considering the character Smiley: an android who, in illogical attempts to procreate (he is a robot), rapes young girls to death - they die when he climaxes, I was skeptical that Disney would actually stream it on their channel in the US.

In Latin America the show arrived on the Star+ streaming service, where all of the mature content owned by Disney, like of all Fox movies and shows, are hosted. Still, I don't understand why they are showing one episode per week since the show has already been dubbed in various languages, why can't they be like Netflix and made the whole series available.

Finally, Disney did not screw us over like they did with Bleach and this is available in the EU too. Kinda disappoing however that an old show like this is uploaded by 1 episode/week for marketing reasons.

Okay so pro: we finally got it here in America. It’s not on Disney+. I get Hulu free anyways. The same thing will undoubtedly happen to summertime rendering
Con: had to wait this long. Not all episodes are here. Have to wait 11 weeks for each remaining ones. It is unknown if we’re getting a blu-Ray release. And summertime rendering is still not here
