Madoka, Mami, Homura, Sakura, Sayaka, and Kyōko from SHAFT's Puella Magi Madoka Magica will be transforming into flower fairies in a collaboration with the Japanese convenience store chain Lawson beginning on April 25.
Lawson will be selling a variety of original goods for the campaign, which is a tie-up event for the 3rd Madoka Magica film, Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part 3: Rebellion.
First is a line of flower fairy keychains, priced at 648 yen (USD $6).
Next is a set of clear files, priced at 1,296 yen (USD $12). The set will include a sticker from the smartphone game Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, which will be released this spring.
Lawson will also be selling 6 different varieties of character cards. The cards will be available in 2 different sizes, L (300 yen/ USD $2.75) and 2L (500 yen/ USD $4.50).
The keychains, clear files, and character cards will be available in Lawson stores from April 25 until products sell out, but they can also be reserved using Lawson's Loppi Web service from April 25 to May 31.
Beginning on May 23, Lawson will also be selling Madoka Magica flower fairy chocolate creme cookies. The boxes of cookies are priced at 600 yen (USD $5.50) and will include an illustrated character card. There will be 6 different possible variations of the character cards.
The original Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime aired in 2011, and the franchise includes three films, several spin-off manga, and video games.
