Series takes 3rd hiatus since April 2014 launch & is slated to return in August

This year's 30th issue of Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine is announcing on Monday that Inio Asano will put his Dead Dead Demon's Dededededestruction manga on hiatus starting in the following issue. The series is slated to resume in the 40th issue on August 31.

The series revolves around the strange everyday life of the very ordinary high school girl Kadode Koyama, her friend Ouran Nakagawa, and others in a world where a giant mothership has appeared over Tokyo. Asano launched the series in Big Comic Spirits in April 2014, and Shogakukan shipped the second compiled volume on May 15. The tentative title before launch was Honobono no Fūfu (Tender-hearted Couple).

Asano previously put the series on hiatus in July 2014, but he resumed it in October 2014. The magazine then announced in December that Asano would put the manga on hiatus until April.

Shogakukan is streaming a trailer for the manga:

Asano ended his Oyasumi Punpun manga series in November 2013. Viz Media has published Asano's previous series Solanin and What a Wonderful World!, and Fantagraphics Books published Asano's horror manga Nijigahara Holograph last year. Vertical Comics announced in March that it will publish Asano's A Girl on the Shore (Umibe no Onna no Ko) manga.
