Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles Manga Gets TV Anime by Studio Gokumi
posted on by Egan Loo
A television anime adaptation of Naru Narumi's Ramen Daisuki Koizumi-san (Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles) manga has been green-lit. Studio Gokumi (Pandora in the Crimson Shell: Ghost Urn, Kinmoza! Kiniro + Mosaic) is animating the project.
The gourmet comedy follows the daily life of Koizumi, a high school girl who looks like a cool beauty at first glance, but actually has an unexpected side of her that loves ramen.
Narumi launched the manga in Takeshobo's Manga Life Storia magazine in 2013, and Takeshobo will publish the fifth compiled book volume on March 30. The 23rd issue (pictured right) of the magazine will ship on Wednesday with the television anime announcement on its front cover. Future issues will reveal the broadcast times, visuals, staff, cast, and other details.
The manga already inspired a live-action television series in 2015, followed by a New Year's Special in January 2016 and a New Year's Eve Special in December 2016.

Update: Although the manga runs in Manga Life Storia (a magazine for short manga), it is not a four-panel manga. Thanks, ptj_tsubasa
