New "Lie, Lie, Lie," theme song debuts in show on Saturday alongside CD single release

The staff of the Detective Conan (Case Closed) anime revealed on Thursday that Maki Ohguro will perform the anime's new opening theme song "Lie, Lie, Lie,". The song will debut in the show this Saturday. The song's CD single release is also slated for Saturday.

Ohguro performed the first ending theme song "Anata dake Mitsumetru" for the Slam Dunk anime. She also performed the "Sora" opening theme song for Cooking Master Boy, and the "Ame Nochi Niji Iro" ending theme song for Major.

The show's current opening song is "Ikusen no Meikyū de Ikusen no Nazo o Toite" by BREAKERZ, which debuted in the anime in January.

The 21st film in the anime franchise, Meitantei Conan Kara Kurenai no Love Letter (Detective Conan: The Crimson Love Letter), opened in Japan on April 15.

The Detective Conan attraction "Scotland Yard kara no Dasshutsu" (Escape From Scotland Yard) will receive a two-episode tie-in anime special titled Ehon kara Tobidasu Bakudan Ma (The Bomb Demon That Came From the Picture Book) this winter.
