Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition Game's iOS Version Slated for February 9

Smartphone version of Final Fantasy XV also slated for Android/PC

The official Twitter account for Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV game announced on Monday that the iOS version of the Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition game is slated for February 9. The game is compatible with iPhone6s (ninth-generation) or later, iPad Pro, iPad (fifth-generation or later), iPad Air2 (second-generation or later), and iPad mini4 (fourth-generation or later) devices with iOS 11.1 installed.

Square Enix has not revealed a date for the game's Android and PC version, although the Android version is available for pre-registration.

The game was originally slated for release last fall. The game will have 10 story episodes that can be bought individually, but the first one will be free. The game is a smartphone version of Square Enix's Final Fantasy XV game with a different graphic style and gameplay, and will contain the same story as the original game.

Final Fantasy XV went on sale worldwide for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2016.
