Zee Café Airs Blue Lock Anime on Indian Television

The anime premiered in Japan in October 2022 on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the "NUMAnimation" programming block. The anime ran for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year) with 24 episodes. Ani-One Asia streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. The company describes Blue Lock:
Only the most self-centered player can be the best striker in the world! In order to create a better soccer team for Japan to win the World Cup, a project called BLUE LOCK is launched to cultivate strikers. Three hundred talented strikers from high schools all over Japan are isolated and pitted against each other. Fighting against 299 other young soccer players, who would finally earn the right to become the national team's striker? Now, the most exciting soccer anime begins.
Crunchyroll added Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs for the first cours of the anime in June 2024. It added the dubs for the second cours on September 10.
Tetsuaki Watanabe (Powerful Pro Yakyū Powerful Kōkō-hen) directed the first season at 8-Bit with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director. Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!, Silver Spoon, 2019 Fruits Basket) supervised and wrote the series scripts, and the manga's Kaneshiro supervised the story. Yutaka Uemura (Saga of Tanya the Evil director) was the concept adviser. Masaru Shindō (Fruits Basket, Macross Delta, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) was the main character designer and chief animation director, and Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya were also character designers and chief animation directors. Jun Murayama composed the music.
Kodansha USA Publishing is publishing the manga in English digitally and in print.
The second season of the anime BLUE LOCK vs. U-20 JAPAN debuted on October 5. Ani-One Asia and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan. Anime Times added the season to Amazon Prime Video.
