Ani-One Simulcasts The Human Crazy University, Blue Lock Anime

The Human Crazy University streams on October 5, Blue Lock on October 9

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced that it will stream The Human Crazy University, the television anime adaptation of the Human Bug Daigaku_Yami no Manga YouTube manga, starting on October 5 at 7:30 p.m. IST. The service will also stream the television anime of Muneyuki Kaneshiro and Yūsuke Nomura's Blue Lock soccer manga starting on October 8 at 10:30 p.m. IST.

Alongside Hong Kong and India, both anime will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, New Caledonia, Pakistan, Palau, the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, Solomon Island, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.

The Human Crazy University will also stream in Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Papua New Guinea, Seychelles.

Ani-One describes The Human Crazy University:

My name is Hirofumi Satake, and I'm a commonplace convict on death row.” Hirofumi Satake, condemned to death for murdering his fiancée, is an “undead man”. He draws the attention of Human Crazy University, an organization researching miraculous phenomena and the humans involved. As its study subject, Satake relates memories of his miserable days of immortality. What made him murder his fiancée? The truth leads to the uncovering of a huge conspiracy.

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX, BS-Fuji, Sun TV, and AT-X in Japan on October 5.

DLE (Eagle Talon franchise, first Thermae Romae television anime) is animating the series. Nano will perform the opening theme song "Catastrophe."

The "Human Bug Daigaku_Yami no Manga" channel on YouTube has been releasing manga with voiced narration and dialogue since March 2019. The "somewhat dark" manga installments are themed around what happens to people when they are pushed to their very limits and driven into a corner like bugs. The installments depict these situations from the perspectives of various characters.

Ani-One describes Blue Lock:

Only the most self-centered player can be the best striker in the world! In order to create a better soccer team for Japan to win the World Cup, a project called BLUE LOCK is launched to cultivate strikers. Three hundred talented strikers from high schools all over Japan are isolated and pitted against each other. Fighting against 299 other young soccer players, who would finally earn the right to become the national team's striker? Now, the most exciting soccer anime begins.

The anime will premiere in Japan on October 8 on TV Asahi and its affiliates in the "NUMAnimation" programming block. The anime will run for two consecutive cours (quarters of a year) with 24 episodes.

Tetsuaki Watanabe (Powerful Pro Yakyū Powerful Kōkō-hen) is directing the anime at 8-Bit with Shunsuke Ishikawa as assistant director. Taku Kishimoto (Haikyu!!, Silver Spoon, 2019 Fruits Basket) is supervising and writing the series scripts, and the manga's Kaneshiro is supervising the story. Yutaka Uemura (Saga of Tanya the Evil director) is the concept adviser. Masaru Shindō (Fruits Basket, Macross Delta, My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU) is the main character designer and chief animation director, and Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya are also character designers and chief animation directors. Jun Murayama is composing the music. Shugo Nakamura will perform the anime's ending theme song "Winner."

Kodansha USA Publishing is publishing the manga in English digitally and in print.
