Majiko to Release New Song 'Ribbon' in April as Opening Theme for The Food Diary of Miss Maid

Singer-songwriter majiko, who has garnered over 200 million streams across Asia and more than 580,000 YouTube subscribers, has been chosen to perform the opening theme for the TV anime The Food Diary of Miss Maid, which will begin airing in April. A new artist photo has also been released.

The new song is titled “Ribbon” and is scheduled for digital release in April to coincide with the anime's broadcast. A preview of the track can be heard in the anime's newly released promotional video.

This will be majiko's first anime tie-in since moving to Bandai Namco Music Live's label UNIERA in July 2025. After releasing the EP GOLDEN JUNKIE last October and holding a solo concert in December, majiko continues to expand her activities in the music scene.

I had the honor of writing a brand-new song titled “Ribbon” for the opening of The Food Diary of Miss Maid. When I read the story, I remember feeling my heart slowly warm, thinking, “What a gentle, heartwarming world this is...!” As I reflected on where I had felt this kind of warmth before, I realized it was in my interactions with all of you, my fans.
“Ribbon” is a song I wrote by blending Suzume-chan's bright way of finding happiness in everyday life with the many heartfelt feelings I've received from my fans.
I would be happy if this song, along with the series, could softly tie itself into your daily lives as well.
