The merchandising is there...the usual suspects in Japan did release a large swath of merch for the series. And, those companies need to get a license to produce said merchandise.

But, my comment regarding the R1 sales being good enough to green-light a second season was based on hope.

Already pre-ordered the BD and that is a totally awesome cast with a lot of great VAs, can't wait.
