Zoinks! RIP! Awesome voice actor. His Shaggy is undeniably the reason why Shaggy is so popular. Hope him and Don Messick are together. Sad This is just so sad for us voice acting fans. Loved Scooby Doo. Sad

And even if Shaggy was an unabashedly intentional Hanna-Barbera ripoff of Bob Denver as Dobie Gillis' beatnik pal Maynard G. Krebs, it's Kasem's "Zoinks!" we'll always be quoting. Cool

I'm glad his suffering has ended. His last days weren't peaceful to say the least with his kids versus his wife. So long Shaggy, it was fun.

Hey guys. I know it's late and all but I also want to say a few words about Casey Kasem. Yeah,it's sad he's gone. Like Dick Clark,I thought that he'd be one of those guys who'd be around forever. I remember him as the voice of Shaggy on "Scooby-Doo" and he'd done other voices on other cartoons as well. On long trips,I'd hear him on "America's Top 40." The guy would even make guest appearances on shows like "Saved by the Bell."
I even think that one of the voices of the monsters on the second season of "Power Rangers" was imitating Mr. Kasem. My guess was they couldn't get the real thing. Anyway,Casey Kasem will be missed by a lot of people,including me. It looks like he's gone to that big radio station in the sky and he'll be doing his thing there forever.
