Holy shit! I was losing my f-ing mind during that trailer. It's looks so good(fishy). Sucks that the original cast won't return, but understandable. MAO!!!! Once I saw that November date, I knew it was weird. Makes sense now.

I actually knew about the cast change for a year because of... well, reasons, but this is my first time hearing about the actual names.

This is my personal opinion as a Digimon fan: I am just going to go cry away my sorrows.

The voice actors JUST came back for the drama CD. This is crazy~ So here's my number~ So call me maybe Toei so I can complain~

2nd reaction: Maybe it will actually be better this way.
3rd reaction: It will take about 3-6 years to see the whole thing.

Kinda bummed that I can't watch sooner. And 6 parts is fairly long. Does that mean we're getting a film every few months?

And totally bummed about the original cast not returning (outside of the Digimon).

So...massive human recast (No Mizutani as Sora? No Maeda as Mimi?), in addition to being OVAs/movies (don't know which yet, doubt they're full movie length) which don't start until Late 2015?

Goodbye actually seeing any of this soon. Kinda disappointing because I was hoping for a new TV run. At the same time, Alphamon being animated in something other than CGI has me excited. Hopefully the rest of the cast get the final forms and it isn't just a Taichi/Yamato/Agu/Gabu/Omni fest.

Hopefully it has a quick turnover from theatrical to DVD/Bluray release and a decent release organization (unlike Gundam UC, Akito the Exiled or SM-C.)

I'm VERY excited for this, but also concerned about the waiting time.

I'm a huge Digimon fan, and I have so much thoughts about this!

I was hoping for a TV show, but a film series is a good thing in that the animation will be consistent, unlike Sailor Moon Crystal. And going by the trailer, dang, the animation looks good.

I'm really disappointed that they switched the human cast, especially since they kept the monsters' actors. Like, why? So weird....

Also, from Spring to November? Oh Toei....

But that trailer! Greymon! Omnimon! Ahhh!

That's...disappointing. Well, they didn't lie to us as this is still a series of anime (films), but I kinda wish they would've told us sooner. Anyway, I'm still going to give it a try.

They're older now; maybe their voices changed?

My impression from reading forum posts is that Digimon has shippers who are hung up on hints of a pairing in the dub that never happened in the original, so with that in mind, I can now see three ways fandom can split over these new movies:

1. Sub/dub.
2. Ship/canon.
3. Old cast/new cast.

Get ready to rumble!

Eh, I would of preferred the original cast. Not sure how I feel about this tbh as I have mixed feelings on it.
