@Hentai_JP - Do you mean Violence Jack and not Black Jack? Black Jack is the scared unlicensed surgeon where Violence Jack is the giant man who rips people a new one..literally.
I am all over checking this ova out, might watch it with my friends along with Oh! My Zombie Mermaid this weekend. I also suggest The Weathering Continent. Which the story it's self was ok, it was very much only part of a long series. But it has really great art, and wins totally on atmosphere. |

Speak for yourself. I always read Buried Treasure, it's a great column. Well, always, unless it's reviewing something I already know about and don't think much of, like Hana Yori Dango (blah) and Serial Experiments Lain (BLECH). |

Hey, I thought the Obscure-O-Meter was going away? Not that I mind; I think it's a clever idea. It's just that Justin said in the "Mysterious Cities of Gold" review that he didn't think the OOM worked anymore.

True, but the thing with Campus Special Investigator Hikaruon,it's suppose to be like a homage to those Metal Hero Live action Super hero series such as Juspion,Space Sheriff Shaider and Metalder, but pretty much failed at that |

I have to thank Area88 and his Anime Classic Reviews site for posting up most of the Pink Noise stuff a while back. The second Pink Noise OVA Campus Special Investigator Hikaruon was great and there's no sexual stuff in it at all.
Body Jack on the other hand was meh. |

I actually watched this OVA a while back on fansubs. It is so absurd that it has to be seen to be believed.
Quite possibly one of the most hilariously random anime OVAs I've ever seen. |

I tried to watch this but it just couldn't hold my interest. It just bothered me too much. I get the impression that most of the humor is unintentional and that it's really a bad film. But I haven't watched more than a little of it so I can't properly critique it.

"I guess this is no place for Freud."
This was hilarious in places. I love the straight-faced absurdity, with the spoiler[Twilight Zone] ending . Another great recommendation. Oh, and please keep the Obscure-O-Meter, if it isn't too much trouble. Having to figure out whether it's licensed or has been released would be a pain for these old titles, and if possible I want to purchase licensed copies. |

Oops. Sorry for the typo guys. I meant to type Body Jack not Black Jack... Hope I didn't confuse/mislead too many innocent souls. Was kinda sleepy back then.

Okay, I'll give it a spin. It's been on my pile for years, and I was always scared of it because of how slow it looked. |

No need to hurry; take you time. And thanks to David.Seth for mentioning this... in order to update my knowledge on Kabu no Isaki, I Googled it and found this blog with the same taste of mine. |

It was a tentacle rape joke that won the heart of my girlfriend, so I guess I'm obligated to watch this.
