Yo-
I've been getting emails wondering what's up with Answerman. I have a new column for publication this coming Friday, with a special announcement. Be sure to check it out.

Special announcement huh? Are you a genetically modified assassin who kills for the CIA when you're not writing for Answerman? ^_-

No, you're thinking of the host of the old Gong Show, Chuck Barris, who claimed he was a CIA Operative. See "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind" for more.

Perhaps it'll be a big 180° and he'll become Questionman and we'll have to send him answers and he'll figure out the questions.

Perhaps he has been living a lie all along. And he has been pulling the wool over our collective eyes instead of owning up to the truth, which is the embarassing fact that his name isn't Zac, but rather Caz.

Damnit, Zac! You can't leave. You have to work for ANN so you can pay child support for our love child! :p

I'm not leaving ANN at all. I'm just not doing Answerman anymore.

Keep 'em flying, Zac!
The last column reminded me of Pete Townsend smashing his guitar at the end of the show.
Welcome To Mrs Answerman. I heard there's gonna be a new Eva series. When will it be coming out on Beta?

Which question is more annoying to get asked over and over and over: "When is Sailor Stars coming out over here?" or "When will Naoko Takeuchi make more Sailor Moon"?
Not that I'm not eager to see a legit release of Sailor Stars, and I'd love it if either Naoko Takeuchi or Toei continued the series, with the girls as twenty-something Sailor Senshi, but I haven't personally asked Zac either question, since I already know the answers to be "No one knows; it hasn't been licensed" and "Probably never; it's over".

Hmm... I've been thinking. Since the column is going to be hosted by a female now that our beloved "solutionnaire" is stepping down, I suggest a name change:
AnswerMa'am
Clever, no? I just think it'd be silly to call Rebecca Bundy "Answerman" since... well.. she's not a man. And it'd be cool to start fresh.
Just thought I'd toss that idea out.
