A dub for Queen's Blade couldn't match the original anyway, with all those wonderful voice actresses. Still, didn't think it would get licensed this fast. There's to hoping it's released on BluRay.

That's just pathetic. Then again, crap like this is all that MB seems to care about getting these days, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised. They'd better market it under the Kitty Media label.

soo media blasters is dubbing more anime, who wants to bet they'll half ass the dubbing then blame it on bad DVD sales when in actuality it's something completely different from what they tell the public

I'm with Blood-. Yay, Ikkitousen 3! Even though I hated that season the most, I can't not complete the show. At least the OVA's are [ahem] interesting.

I wish I could be there the first time the VA sees the acid boobs and the exploding boobs. I bet her reaction would be hilarious.

This is just....sad. There are so many other shows out there that are more deserving than the uncreative Queen's Blade waiting to be picked up. I hope this absolutely bombs out in the R1 region, but unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen.

Queen's Blade is a result of merchandising, not the other way around as with most shows. If people already liked the characters because of the art books and figures, they're likely going to adore the show. It's not really about the show here, but more that the women are animated and voiced.

Your right on the hoping part, but I remember hearing on a panel that Media isn't interested in releasing anime in Blu-ray format Sad

That's sad, the BluRayrips even in 720p look magnificent. I'm not sure I could settle for anything else.

It's not the first time he's done this. Heck, most of MBs titles are announced this way or through the solicits. They rarely release out press releases.

I on the other hand am looking forward to Media-Blasters' DVD release, as it means Queen's Blade will finally be available in 480i.

EDIT: 480i, not 480p.

OH NOES! DRAWN NAKED WOMEN WILL DESTROY ANIME, MANKIND!

Great news. Hoping for blu-rays, though.
