Normally I try to refrain from judging something before it's released, but when I saw the words "Jersey Shore", I instantly thought "disaster."

I'm with Faiga_Raisa on this one. The description given by Doron Ofir Casting is a dead giveaway.

I think most people will come to the same conclusion as you (I know that I did).

This is pretty much showing all the signs of "fail".

If they were to do one, I'd have gone another route.

I doubt they could find sexy nerds to make up half of the cast. I SERIOUSLY doubt they could find sexy nerd girls to fill even one slot.

I can see this happening if the positive stuff doesn't make Jersey Shore look good or its too boring.

I wonder if they are really looking for genuine fans and not just fans who look "hot" and add very little to what they were representing.

Are you f***ing kidding me?! No. Just no. This is a complete fail. I hate reality shows. I hate Jersey Shore. And I hate this. This new "show" will just make decent anime fans look like total nutjobs. I liked MTV better when it was all music videos. Now it's this garbage. MTV, back the hell off.

I'd love to say that they'll have a hard time finding someone to fill the niche slots, but some people are whores and will do anything to make it on TV. "Hey, look at me, I'm a super *fill in the blank* fan..." Pathetic Mad

Hearing about anything coming from the producers of Jersey Shore makes me ill.

I just hope that they don't plan to film this in New Jersey! We already had the Jersey Shore idiots here, we don't need any more.

Maybe they can get cosplayers like Yaya Han or Ruby Rocket. The latter having been on reality TV before and has some acting credits. That would be awesome. But I doubt that would happen... With a past show like Jersey Shore its bound to be exploitative as others have said.

Like everyone else, I'm not fond of whole Otaku getting exploited. Since everyone here knows that, let's give Jersey Shore production team a big middle finger.

However there are many otaku-wannabe attention whores who'll do anything to be in a spotlight.... Sad
