Does anyone know anything about Matsuri Akino? I know she's based in a pretty coastal area... I also know she's fairly private so I don't even know that she has a blog.

My understanding is that Matsuri Akino lives in Yokohama, which is south of Tokyo. I hear that it took very little damage other than some bumps and shaking. If she is still living there, I assume she is fine. I can't verify her safety by any confirmed source though. I am hoping for the best.

Shun Matsuena is listed as 'confirmed alive' on Japanese sites, but I don't know the source. Those lists seem reliable, though. Almost 1:1 with current ANN list.

Apologies if this has been posted already (this thread is so large now that it's hard to keep track!) but both Ogata Megumi (hell, maybe I mentioned she was safe and I'm just blanking out) and Mitsuishi Kotono are safe.

Mitsuishi posted on her blog asking how everybody is and that she and her family are safe http://kotochawan.com/main/blog.php?itemid=1220 while today, Ogata posted on her blog requesting everybody's help with "Operation Yashima" http://emou.seesaa.net/article/190255400.html .

i read the past posts saying hiro is alive which is great news however there isnt a offically statement is there any offically statement about mashima.im also worried about the manga ka oh great (air gear,tenjou tenge) but hasn't been a word on him yet.

Does anyone know if Akira Amano is alright?

And now they've just said it was a false tsunami alarm. I don't know if I should be relieved there's not going to be any devastation or mad 'cause they've made a lot of people moving out in panic.

Where is the information that the SWJ mangaka are safe. Is there a link that I can go to to show that Akira Amano is safe that is not the fan blog?

I would also like to know if anyone knows about Tomo Takabayashi and Temari Matsumoto who created and draw Kyo Kara Maoh!.

I would also like to know about Takashi Kondō who voices Hibari in Katekyo Hitman Reborn!.

So, if you're concerned about a seiyuu, get on the page, go to the search feature of your browser and put in the Kanji of his/her name, if the name is in one of the posts with the complete list (the ones with the huge amount of text and names in kanji) then he/she is fine Anime smile
