I see TRSI is having an Icarus sale right now, and I was thinking of ordering a couple books. I'm worried if some of the content might be objectionable to our weird laws up here though. I ordered an Icarus manga (Aqua Bless) back in 2011 with no problems, and I know titles from Project H are sold up here as well.
Anyone have any insight into this? Should I be worried? |

Did they open the package? I imagine it wouldn't be too relevant if they didn't(unless they've stopped the policy of inspecting everything and anything from RightStuf).

Don't take my word as Gospel on this because I might be wrong, but I think with TRSI's (not-so) new Canadian shipping system, that you shouldn't run into any problems. Before, it seems like TRSI packages would languish in Canadian customs for a long time and would often by opened. These days, there is a stream-lined system in place. That's why we get our packages within 3 to 5 days as opposed to having to wait weeks.
Plus, let's just say for the sake of argument your package did get inspected and something objectionable was found. At worst, they would confiscate it (unless it was deemed kiddie porn in which case you'd be screwed). However, the chances of something purchased from TRSI being considered kiddy porn up here must be virtually nil. |

Thanks for the input. Don't know if I want to chance it, though rightstuf has a couple of hard to find Icarus books...
