I hate it when music rights hinder shows from getting streamed.

At least with the music from anime-specific recording labels (e.g. Lantis / King / Flying Dog / 5pb ) they seem to have licensing all sorted out. Perhaps that could be a topic for another Answerman? |

Licensing issues could be done even in an ANNCast episode.

I think that the companies I mentioned were formed with anime music as their core activity with the understanding that it would be part of the anime licensed for overseas distribution.

I would like to see that too. But I'm not sure if that'll happen since Japanese music industry don't know a good market when they see one. |
