To those who think this sounds like Death Note: don't judge a book by its cover. It's nothing like it at all.
spoiler[Let's talk about the intent to kill. A wise old man once said, "One murder makes a villain in everyday life but on the battlefield millions makes a hero." (A modification of Charlie Chaplin's line from Monsieur Verdoux). That's the opening to the story. A group of teens are attacking a man on the ground in a sick and twisted game of darts. Just as they are going to shoot him in the eye, the main character steps in and shoots one of the guys dead. Judging by the second chapter, this is going to be the "killing people for doing bad things" route. ] |
