Ah Madhouse. I was hoping for Production I.G. but guess might work even with TMS Entertainment. The key visual looks decent.

Shoya though looks really hot.
Hot characters hot art. I already know my ship! Cant wait. I guess no more Ace of Diamond frees up Madhouse sports folks. |

Maybe I'll finally be able to understand rugby after watching this, because even after reading more than 40 chapters of No Side(1994-96 Rugby manga) I'm still clueless.

With prince of stride only being 12 episodes and ace of diamonds ending this year(unless they adapt act 2),this will be a nice new sports anime to see(never watched rugby before) and no homo but maboy in the middle got CAKE

You know, if you were to tell me years ago that there would be a time where sports anime would be very popular, I'd laugh at you. And I say this as someone who is a fan of Free!/Kuroko/Haikyuu.
I do find it pretty neat how a lot of sports anime are popping up nowadays, even if a good chunk of them (if not most/all) are based on a manga or light novel. This series seems interesting. Add me to the group of people that barely knows anything about rugby.

Seeing as how my favorite manga ever is Eyeshield 21, which is about football, I actually kinda have high hopes for this, especially since how much of a disaster the Eyeshield anime adaptation was.
I've never read the manga, but judging from the shots, I can expect quite a bit of male fanservice... I just hope they don't overplay it. Also, the title spells "Rubgy." |

I know nothing of rugby but if Hosoyan is voicing that boy in the back then I will give it a try

I think Fall is a good time to air this, though it would have been even better if they aired this in 2019. Even though 2019 is so FAR AWAY, it is actually the year when the Rugby World Cup will be held in Japan. Oh well, maybe this will get a re-run then. I'm also expecting even more sports anime to pop up in 2019 and 2020, since the Olympic Games will be held in Japan in 2020. Heck, imagine even a full-blown Olympic anime!

The real tragedy is that I have to wait until Fall to see if someone will try to bounce a 500 yen coin off dat arse.
I'm looking forward to this show already. |

I'm not a big sports fan or anything and I found that new running anime pretty boring but I will check this new "rubgy" sports anime out for the visual. Maybe the bonding between buff men with lots of ass, I mean assets and sass will be interesting.

A high-schooler playing rugby with three bulkier players... I bet this will be a fun, adrenaline-raising watch!

All I want from this is to see Takuya Sekizan do a seriously cool haka.
Well, that and a few epic games with just a hint of shipping. |
