Nana Mizuki to Sing at Glee Star Matthew Morrison's Tokyo Concert

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

The Japanese leg of Glee actor Matthew Morrison's concert tour will include a special guest. Voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki will sing at the March 1 performance at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall. The Black Clover and Dragon Ball Super: Broly voice actress will perform a duet with Morrison.

Nana Mizuki was a member of Glee's Japanese dub cast where she performed the part of cheerleader Quinn Fabray (played by Dianna Agron).

Mizuki commented that she was overwhelmed and both surprised and honored when she got the news that she would perform a duet with Morrison. She'd previously seen his last concert tour in person.

Mizuki is a prolific singer and voice actress and her own concerts have included amazing costumes. She made her voice-acting debut in the 1997 romance simulation game NOeL. Her singles, albums, and Blu-ray Discs have topped Oricon's ranking charts. Mizuki's anime roles include Naruto's Hinata Hyūga, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha's Fate Testarossa, Minami-ke's Tōma Minami, WWW.WAGNARIA!!'s Kisaki Kondō, and Dog Days Ricotta Elmar.

Ryan Murphy's television dramedy Glee aired on Fox from 2009 to 2015 and starred an ensemble cast that included Morrison, Agron, Kevin McHale, Darren Criss, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer, and Mark Salling.
