Marvel's Dr. Strange Film Gets Prequel Manga 1-Shot

This year's 52nd issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine will publish Haruichi's Doctor Strange Episode 0 one-shot manga, which serves as a prequel to Marvel Studio's live-action Doctor Strange film starring Benedict Cumberbatch, on November 22. The one-shot is Haruichi's debut work.
The prequel's story takes place before the accident where Stephen Strange injured his hands, when he was an arrogant genius surgeon. The story follows his troubles with coworkers and treatment of his patients.
In addition, a manga series titled Doctor Strange will launch on DeNA's free Manga Box app on November 30.
Manga creator Haruichi was an Excellent Rookie Award winner in the young division of the 70th Tetsuya Chiba Awards.
Marvel's Dr. Strange opened in theaters in North America last Friday. The film will screen in theaters in Japan beginning on January 27, 2017.
