God Eater 3 Game's Full Opening Anime by ufotable Previews BiSH Song

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Game launches in Japan on December 13, in West on February 8

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming the opening animation for the God Eater 3 game on Tuesday. Anime studio ufotable provided the animation, and Bandai Namco Entertainment debuted a sneak peek of the animation in September. The video previews the theme song "stereo future" by BiSH.

The game will debut in Japan on December 13 for PlayStation 4. The game will feature the new character Yūgo Pennywort (voiced by Tomokazu Seki). Anime studio ufotable is returning to animate the opening sequence.

The game will launch in North America and Europe on February 8. In the West, the game will be available on PlayStation 4 and PC. The release will have both English and Japanese audio.

Bandai Namco Entertainment describes God Eater 3:

Earth no longer resembles the home we know of now. The Aragami, terrifying beasts that live only to consume, are carving a path of destruction and misery wherever they are encountered. To combat this threat an elite group of heroes known as God Eaters are called upon to save humanity. God Eaters are individuals who have been bestowed upon them the ability to wield powerful new God Arcs, special weapons powered by Oracle Cells and the only known weapons capable of destroying the monstrous Aragami. However, another mission is coming into focus; something is happening to the God Eaters and the line between light and dark has never been so thin. It's time to start breaking free from the cursed shackles that bind the souls of the God Eaters as the battle rages on around them.

The God Eater game franchise inspired a 13-episode television anime series in 2015. Aniplex of America released the anime with an English dub on Blu-ray Disc in two sets in November 2016 and January 2017.
