The official website for MOVIC's number24 original rugby television anime revealed additional cast members for the anime on Friday. The new cast members include:

Takuya Kodama as Fūga Saitō, a beloved rightside prop who is somewhat of a team mascot

Aoi Ichikawa as Yayoi Tsuzura, a laid back freshman reserve player who is also a foodie

Masamu Ono as Sunao Konoe, a right center who hails from Kyoto, and who is sadistic like Natsusa

Shinnosuke Murashima as Tsūgen Sasaki, a rightside flanker who gets along with Seiichirō, and who is resolved to do a good deed each day

Yūki Inoue as Li Hongbin, a rightside back exchange student who rationally thinks of ways to win at any cost

Kentarō Kumagai as Makoto Someya, a stand-off fighting for the same position as the prodigy Ibuki, his senior in high school

Mizuki Chiba as Ren Tamashiro, a muscle-loving and self-loving rightside lock who tends to dampen the mood of everyone around him, but is not hated

The previously announced cast includes:

Kengo Kawanishi as Natsusa Yuzuki, a sadistic and sharp-tongued left wing who loves rugby

Ryōta Suzuki as Seiichirō Jingyōji, a taciturn fullback who is always by his childhood friend Natsusa's side

Junichi Yanagita as Ibuki Ueoka, a former prodigy player and stand-off who could not measure up to Natsusa

Shōhei Komatsu as Yasunari Tsuru, a bright-eyed left wing who has a complicated relationship with Natsusa

Ayumu Murase as Yū Mashiro, an earnest scrum-half who admires Natsusa

Hinata Tadokoro as Gakuto Zaitsu, a reliable captain and hooker, feared by friend and foe alike

Shinnosuke Tachibana as Ikuto Yufu, the sickly vice-captain and left centre who always has Gakuto's back

Makoto Furukawa as Taisei Uchinashi, a strong-willed blindside-flanker who disagrees with Ibuki

Kazuyuki Okitsu as Ethan Taylor, a carefree number eight, cheerful inside and outside the game

Sōma Saitō as Madoka Hongō, a fullback and "Creator of the Backs," who comes from the same high school as Natsusa

Kaito Ishikawa as Kazutaka Hongō, Madoka's arrogant young brother, a number eight, and "Destroyer of the Forwards," who has a connection with Ibuki

The anime will premiere in January on Tokyo MX.

The anime's college rugby story centers on Natsusa Yuzuki, who expects to be an ace on the rugby team when he enrolls in college. However, he is no longer able to play rugby due to certain circumstances. Ibuki Ueoka is an older fellow student who quit rugby. Yasunari Tsuru is a younger student who finds Natsusa disagreeable. Yū Mashiro is a younger student who admires and follows Natsusa. Seiichirō Shingyō is Natsusa's close childhood friend. Together, they compete in the Kansai university rugby league.

Shigeru Kimiya (Gift - eternal rainbow, One Off, efficus) is directing the anime at PRA. Kei Mori (Verrocchio Agency) is credited for the original work, and MOVIC is credited with the story concept. Rika Nakase (Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime, Rocket Girls, Kanamemo) is in charge of series composition and scripts. Umaruchan) is designing the characters for animation, and is also the chief animation director. Tsukasa Ōhira is credited for art setting, while Scott MacDonald is the art director.
