Shin chan Hot Spring Battle, Shin chan The Adult Empire Strikes Back Anime Films Air in India on 'Sony YAY!'

The Facebook page for "Sony YAY!" began streaming a promotional video on Tuesday announcing that it will air the Shin-chan Hot Spring Battle (Crayon Shin-chan: Bakuhatsu! Onsen Wakuwaku Daikessen) anime film on May 10 at 11:00 a.m. IST and the Shin-chan The Adult Empire Strikes Back (Crayon Shin-chan: Arashi o Yobu Mōretsu! Otona Teikoku no Gyakushū) anime film on May 11 at 11:00 a.m. IST. The films will air as part of the channel's "Shin-chan Summer Movie Madness" block.

Shin-chan Hot Spring Battle is the seventh Crayon Shin-chan film and premiered in April 1999. Shin-chan The Adult Empire Strikes Back is the ninth film and premiered in April 2001.

The Indian premiere for Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora-tachi no Kyōryū Nikki (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Our Dinosaur Diary), the Crayon Shin-chan franchise's 31st 2D animated film, took place at PVR Cinemas, Inorbit Mall, Mumbai on April 19. The film released across Indian theaters on Friday and is screening in Japanese with English subtitles, in Hindi, in Tamil, and in Telugu. The film premiered in Japan on August 9.

Eiga Crayon Shin-chan Chō Karei! Shakunetsu no Kasukabe Dancers (Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: Super Magnificent! Scorching Kasukabe Dancers), the latest anime film in the Crayon Shin-chan series, will open in Japan on August 8. The film will be the "series' first dance entertainment movie" and the series' first film set in India.
