Wasteful Days of High School Girls U.K. Blu-ray Released on Monday

On Monday August 25, MVM will release a Blu-ray edition of Wasteful Days of High School Girls. The series centres on three girls: Tanaka, nicknamed "Idiot" for her low test scores; Kikuchi, nicknamed "Ota" for her obsession with boys-love stories; and Saginomiya, nicknamed "Robot" for being a genius but emotionless. Together with a colorful cast of characters, the hopeless girls live wasteful days of youth.

Takeo Takahashi (Hinako Note, The Island of Giant Insects) was chief director, and Hijiri Sanpei (episode director for MAOYU, Magic Kaito: Kid the Phantom Thief) directed the anime at Passione. Masahiro Yokotani (All Out!!, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club) was in charge of series composition. Sachiko Yasuda (Seven Mortal Sins) was in charge of character designs and was chief animation director. Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari Sketch, Squid Girl) composed the music.

AKASAKI, Tomatsu, and Toyosaki performed the theme songs. The opening theme song is "Wa! Moon! dass! cry!," and the ending theme song is "Seishun no Reverb" (Youth Reverberation).

Crunchyroll will release the 37th volume of One Piece on both Blu-ray and DVD, carrying episodes 892 to 916. The volume is described as follows:

"In the Land of Wano, Luffy races to get Otama to a doctor, and Zoro escapes execution before they battle Beast Pirate Basil Hawkins together. Later, after a close call with Holdem, Luffy links up with Zoro, Law, and co., fleeing on a stolen food cart. The group then heads to Oden Castle, where they hear the country's history until a drunken Kaido attacks - leading Luffy to take him on."
