KuroCon Announces Artists and Performers Angela, Marble, ZAQ, Asaka, Stephanie, Seishun Youth Academy, Mido Hayama, and Other Guests for Online Event Starting July 4th, 2020

Montreal, Quebec - July 2, 2020

Kurotsuki Convention Online, or KuroCon, is a new type of online-only anime convention. Our event will take place on July 4 and 5, on Twitch and on the KuroCon Discord.

KuroCon is a by-fan-for-fan con that is free to the public. We invite you all to watch and enjoy the streams and see how your favorite entertainers, industry folks and fellow fans are doing during this global pandemic, and have something fun to do while staying home. We want to rekindle the excitement that may have been diminished with many of the anime conventions being cancelled and bring back a slice of that experience, in a new way.

This is why we went to get Japanese guests that are exciting, provide fan panel spaces as well as a virtual artist alley. You can participate in the AA and fan panels on the KuroCon Discord, while all the main events programs will be viewable on KuroCon Twitch.

On that note, the wonderful guest lineup at KuroCon are as follow:

• Anisong veteran duo angela is best known for their decades of contribution from Stellvia of the Universe to the opening of last season's My Next Life as a Villainess (Hamefura): Otome no Route wa Hitotsu Janai! Their other hits include the theme songs to Sidonia, K, Fafner, Valvrave, and many others. angela will appear on KuroCon Twitch on Sunday, 7/5 for a Q&A panel.
  
• Organic pop duo marble has numerous anime tie-ins before disbanding in 2015, such as the openings to the Hidamari Sketch anime series. Kurocon is proud to celebrate their just-announced reunion with marble's first overseas event! Tune in to KuroCon Twitch on July 4th, 7:30PM Eastern for a mini-live.
  
• Multi-talented singer-song-writer ZAQ, whose hit opening from Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! (Chuunikoi) launched her into fame and she contributed to numerous other anime and game works, such as Love Live! and IDOLM@STER Million Live. ZAQ will appear in a panel stream on Sunday, 7/5.
  
• Stefanie will make a short appearance at Kurocon stream. She is best known from Gundam 00, where she performed the ending theme, Friends.
  
• Asaka, whose anisong hit Shiny Days from Yuru Camp delighted many in recent years. In 2020 she also sang the ending to Heya Camp, The Sunshower. Asaka will appear on KuroCon Twitch on Saturday, 7/4, for a Q&A session.
  
• Seishun Youth Academy is a Vancouver-based idol group, as a sister group of the main Japanese SeiSHUN Gakuen. They will appear on Twitch for a mini-live on Saturday, 7/4.
  
• Mido Hayama is the virtual YouTuber alter-ego of visual novel creator Kio Nachi, who has worked on various big-name games such as the Grisaia series. Mido will appear in a panel on Saturday, 7/4.
