Cosplay Expo Coming to Las Vegas in December 2022
Cosplayers will find themselves yearning with anticipation in preparation for an incredible convention called COSPLAY EXPO coming to Las Vegas, Nevada!
Vegas, NV - July 28, 2022 - December is looking to be an amazing time for fans of anime, video games, and comic books in Las Vegas as the incredible three-day Expo of Cosplayers, Gamers!, and Anime fans rolls into town December 9th through 11th at CAESARS FORUM in Vegas. Cosplay Expo is an event that celebrates all people who love popular culture, ranging from anime to video games to tabletop board games to collectible card games. If you're a fan of Pokémon, Dragon Ball, Magic the Gathering, Call of Duty, Deadpool, or even Batman you'll have a great time at this incredible expo.
"Cosplay" is a portmanteau or "costume roleplay", meaning that many folks attend the convention wearing costumes based on their favorite characters from popular media. Costumes are NOT REQUIRED to attend. Many people are expected to visit the convention to meet one of the dozens of special guests, including guests flown in from all around the world.
Featured cosplay guests include Ani-Mia, a world-famous cosplayer who is also a comic writer and the author of Bettie Page and the Bigfoot Bandits published by Dynamite Comics, Tine Marie, a cosplayer from Norway who has been cosplaying since 2009, and D-Piddy, a Deadpool cosplayer famous across YouTube.
The convention's guest list goes beyond "costume players", as it features headliner guests like voice actor and actor Phil LaMarr, most famous for his work on Mad TV, in Futurama as Hermes Conrad, as Green Lantern in Justice League, and as Samurai Jack and Static Shock. Other anime voice actors attending include Bryson Baugus (Attack on Titan), Carrie Savage (xxxHOLiC), Katelyn Barr (My Hero), and Sarah Wiedenheft (Dragon Ball Super).
The expo is scheduled to take place at CAESARS FORUM, a brand new convention center a couple blocks east of the Las Vegas Strip, which features over 300,000 square feet of flexible event space. Cosplay Expo's exhibit hall will take place in one of the largest pillarless ballrooms in the world.
