I am sooooooooooo going to see this in Japan in August! And Gundam Big Expo~!!! Is there anymore info on the event? I've searched but have yet to find.
Wonder what they will do with the Gundam after its exhibition... Hope they keep it on display somewhere else. |

The caption "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!" needs to be on the photo.
Or at the very least, a sound file with a booming, echoing, machine-like voice stating it. Funny, you'd think the Japanese would have mecha science down enough the crane in the picture wouldn't be necessary. It could have just walked there on its own. |

Ok, this is seriously cool, but there's one thing I don't get.
With the economy the way it is, Japan doesn't have the Yen to build an anime museum to, "preserve and restore valuable original manga drawings from continuing degradation", but instead definitely has enough money to build a 60 foot Gundam statue. 
Seems a bit strange to me. Still awesome tho.

you know what's gonna happen. some one/group attacks tokyo and during the attack some teenager "happens" to get trapped inside the gundam and then instantly knows how to pilot it and ends up saving japan.
the end. but wow... are they like ahead of schedule? trust the Japanese to be so diligent in building a giant robot. |

People keep saying this, but has anybody done the research to prove that this Gundam was a public works project? I need to peruse the website to check it, but with "construction" projects being what they are in Japan*, I doubt somebody wasn't paying out to somebody. * = wink, nudge |

Amuro isn't as sociopath, he can pilot the Gundam better than anyone, BETTER THAN ANYONE! Besides, he's basically the only Gundam pilot who actually grew up and matured.
Probably the beam rifle the right hand looks like it's gonna be holding it, and both beam swords are in the backpack. |

I feel like all those have to be inferred, reading heavily between the lines, and just then maybe. For Amuro, we can just plainly see him evolve throughout UC (I wasn't talking just about 0079). |
