For some reason I can't help but think of Ikki Tousen when reading the premise for this show.

Hopefully it will be better than that.

I saw the first episode, and it appears to be better than Ikki Tousen (take that for what you will). At least, the characters weren't annoying. I'll be watching...

That's how I first read it too yesterday. It would be nice if that happened. Smile Though I wonder how well The Anime Network will be able to simulcast it compared to how VIZ Media, FUNimation Entertainment, and Crunchyroll simulcast anime.

They worked with what they were given, and, frankly, I was able to tolerate the show more when I was watching the censored episodes. After I made the switch, it just became so damn unbearable that I ended up dropping the show entirely.
