Her voice was really incredible and refreshing, she made believe that Bulma actually had a sweet side to her, other than the American spunky voice actor we had for Bulma in the original dub, although I like her as well. This is unbelievable, she will seriously be missed.

Dear God, this is genuinely shocking. Prayers for everyone that knew her, and may she Rest In Peace.

Oh, no. I've always secretly feared one of Dragon Ball's main seiyuu would pass away before Super ended, and I never thought it would be her, probably because she had such an ageless voice. She's just not replaceable to me, and I wish the show could retire the role. May she rest in peace, and may Bulma, Madoka, Ukyou, Kiddy and the many other classic characters she brought to life never be forgotten.

Unfortunately, it’s more than likely she will be recast in the future. By now a lot of episodes with Bulls in them have probably already been produced. It’s a shame, but the Japanese market isn’t as willing to retire characters as the American market is, at least from experience.

It's so depressing to see so many talented people pass away so early. Sad
May Ms. Tsuru-san rest in peace. She will be missed dearly.

This is really sad to hear. I love ranma 1/2. Ukyou is one of my favorite characters. RIP

good to know I'm not the only one that think's there's something really wrong with the way she died here. It's just really suspicious.

That's awful, 57 is far too young. Sad Unfortunately I'm only familiar with little snippets of her work, like Shakky from One Piece, but to voice as iconic a character as Bulma for over 30 years is remarkable. It sounds like she must have suffered some sort of medical emergency and managed to pull over before losing consciousness.

Like many characters in Dragon Ball, Bulma's voice barely changed over the years. Her earlier work in early Dragon Ball was quite charming.

While Bulma's voice was very high, I also liked her portrayal as Yubel from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, who had a much deeper voice.

Now I wonder if all of her lines for Dragon Ball FighterZ have been recorded. It would be jarring to listen to a second seiyuu in that game. Now we can't hear as little Bra again.

I never watched Dragon Ball in Japanese; only in English. But that was a long time ago.

So I knew Tsuru-san from Maison Ikkoku as the female lead's secondary suitor's arranged marriage fiancée and as the female lead in Kimagure Orange Road.

Sad

Extreme sadness.

One of my fave seiyuu, and one of the best there ever was.

Her vocals and characterizations made Madoka Ayukawa perfect and even more legendary.

She also voiced alot of other memorable primary and secondary characters from alot of the great classic anime of yesteryears.

RIP.

In addition to Bulma, she also was great as Meryl Stryfe in Trigun. May she rest in peace.

WTF! It is not even december and the death parade has already started? She was too young, I am old enough to have heard many of her anime roles, she will be sorely missed.

So sad. I remember her as one of my favorite characters - Ayukawa Madoka. One of the first anime I ever watched. And then I started hearing her voice everywhere in anime. She was one of the best.
I'm going to miss her. Crying or Very sad
