I second a vote for Hillary Haag to play the lead- she could take this role interesting places, plus every show is improved when I hear her voice [I warmed up to Trinity Blood more when she popped up ]
Yay for ADV for getting this, and now that it's connected with Nabeshin in my mind, I plan to get it eventually. Nice choice ADV

I'm not much of a fan of either the anime or the manga, but it's always nice to see a shoujo title get licensed--and by ADV, no less! Let's hope this and Saiunkoku start a trend.
And please, whoever's got the Ouran license, hurry! You're killing me.

Did anyone really license it or was that all just a huge practical joke? If it is licensed, I wish the company would just go ahead and spill it because personally I'm sick of hearing the constant "where's Ouran" every time something else gets announced.
No offense intended to anyone. I want to see it announced too. It's just not one I'm waiting for with wallet in hand.
GATSU: I don't think it's possible for them to spread themselves as thin as ADV did, but I can see your point. (Although, at least in terms of anecdotal evidence, Funimation series are selling very well, so maybe they've got more than just seed money to work with.)

I went to the event in Houston and my roommate and his cousin got to sit next to the actual "Nabeshin" in the audience when we took a huge group photo. It was awesome!!

I don't really care about licenses. I'd pay ADV just to see Nabeshin at AX.

If Chris Ayers gets the ADR assigment, then I'm sold. Maybe he'll screen it during the fall convension season much like he did with Nerima Daikon Brothers last year.

I found the animation to just be horrendous, so I never really followed this show, though I did catch a few episodes since my anime club was showing it.

I stumbled onto this anime by watching episode 9 first, and I thought,
why did they not draw Sunako pretty, like she is sometimes.... So I
started the first episode... OH, that is why. I was a bit bothered with
the lips of the characters, but I have to say it grew on me so much
that this is my favorite anime!!!! I love this one, I love Ouran too but
this one I think I have a special place for.
I am always worried when they dub an anime,
I have no idea why anime is so bad in English but, it
just seems to be, I think the only ones I have truly
liked in English, besides Full Metal Alchemist, is the
Disney productions, which they have the money for
near perfection.
I love this anime so much, I am kind of surprised people
only watched one episode and said Nah!.... My favorite
episode is Valentine's day.
