Same here. I would not have participated if they'd mentioned that up front.

Y'know, Ireland is an English speaking country too... I'm almost offended...

And Ireland is bigger (population wise) then New Zealand.
Uncool ANN. Uncool.

I've gotten to a question in the survey where I can't give a correct answer. It asked me which genres of video games I play, and I selected the two listed genres that I play. However, it will only let me proceed if I select at least three genres. So basically I have to lie to it or give up on the survey.
EDIT: Well, I lied to it to continue the survey, and now it is forcing me to give incorrect answers again. It asked me how many hours I spend a week on playing games on the Internet, and won't let me give an answer less than 1. It isn't as if I have given any responses that would imply that I play games on the Internet . . . it just seems to assume that all people must play games on the Internet in this day and age. I have actually played games on the Internet in the past, but stopped about a month ago. So maybe it is fair to give an answer of 1 hour per week. However, it still is annoying that it forces me to give an answer of at least 1 hour.
Anyway, if you want the survey to actually be useful, what is the point of not allowing people to give truthful answers? I don't think it is that unexpected that there are people who really just play single player RPGs, which is basically what I do.

Why would I want to give personal info to what is obviously a spam generatign site? I also don't go to the sites adveritised on TV (the "free xbox 360" sites).

LOL
I was just thinking that ... "New Zealand"???
It'll be because the interested parties distribute games to these countries- anyone know if computer games come with region codes like DVDs?
The site just crashed as I was halfway through - I wonder if trying to put in "zero" hours per week for internet gaming killed it
Edit: BTW the CBLDF didn't have New Zealand as a country either, I had to put down country: Australia, state: New Zealand *cough*
They've very kindly changed that now I think.

I specified didn't work and still had to answer work and office questions. :p
And I'm not a big gamer, I was expecting an anime survey...
And I put '0' for some answers. :p

Say, ANN, can you tell us a little more about what is going on here? Is this really an official ANN survey, or did someone higher up the rock make you post it? What about the concerns that the site is just a way of gathering email addresses for 'business' purposes?

The same happened to me and off course had to lie in order to keep filling the survey.
