That Rindou tomboy had the right to be angry at Sakura.] What she did to her wasn't nice at all. spoiler[Sakura vs Rindou official fight was.. well.. short.] Looks like no one can stand up to her luck. At least Momiji was enjoying that. spoiler[Making Rindou into a proper girl was "wow, what a makeover"! Her dad sure pissed Sakura with his attitude.] Maybe she's got a new friend now? Wit her attitude, maybe.. |

I enjoyed this episode. They really haven't introduced a character I don't like.
My one very slight problem is that the God of Misfortune seems to be forgetting what she is there for. |

I forgot to mention something that really made me laugh, when they were all making noise and the guy spoiler[yelled at them, but not that they were meant to learn, but it was cutting into his sleeping. And the other students agree that they should be sleeping.]

Episode 8
spoiler[Sakura and Ranmaru weird relationship. Seems like Momiji only likes her because Sakura is not a fan. Now all three are friends?! *shocked* It's amazing how Ranmaru saw right through Sakura's mask. Who knew her feamle classmates hated her so much to resort to kidnapping. Flashback to Sakura's past sure revealed some interesting things about her present behavior. Looks like Momiji is more of her conscience/psychiatrist than a worthy enemy. It was rare to see Sakura open her heart to anyone.] |

Her trauma brought, oh and the backstabbing friend Kurumi was spoiler[voiced by none other than the tsundere queen herself. Have not seen her voice such a malicious character like that before, and some of her cruel behavior almost sounded tsundere.]
Rindou is great I really liked how hard she tried to help Ichiko, and I finally think there is a part of Ichiko to explain her awful behavior. |

I can already tell this series will be very underrated despite the fact it is pretty damn solid.
Seriously, Sword Art Online is already in the top 500 and this isn't? People need to get there shit together. |

Good catch on spoiler[Back-stabbing Friend's] seiyuu, DP. Didn't pick up on that, myself.
I kinda wish they'd make that girl who always points out where she was seen in the episode an actual character, but that's not going to happen, is it? |

damn, gotta suck when you find out that your only "friend" is a total backstabbing bitch. thinking back to episode 1, when she fires Suwano, that had to be extremely painful since he was the only good person in her life up to that point.

This show just shot up the rankings for me.
While in direct context of this episode it seems weak, I think the trauma works. For one, we don't know how long this plan was in the works. If it was a several month long charade, then I could see how it rip heart in two. Remember, this was her only friend and the only person other than Suwano that she trusted since her parents were never around (which is another source of trauma). For her to not only be a lying, conniving bitch, but to also turn the boy she was crushing on against her when she's, like, 5, I can see it. Again, I'm not saying it's great, but I think it works. The Ichiko/Ranmaru conversation was fantastic, too. I cried. It wasn't a waterfall or anything, but tears were shed. |

spoiler[Sakura vs Momiji! A tennis match!? Ranmaru was LOL all awkward about Keita. A prince of tennis parody? Well, it was fun to watch. Looks like Sakura found something she wasn't good at. Momiji got reinforcements - Kuroyuri. Their little cooking contest was a fiasco... Well.... this was an interesting episode, but slightly less funny.] |
