Where is Nayuki Minase from Kanon? She's allergic to cats, but cannot resist to pet them.

I had to add two unusual names to the list! Both characters, Marvel Frozen, and Shott Weapon come from Aura Battler Dunbine. To make it even better, both of those characters are from the United States.
Those names just make me wonder if Yoshiyuki Tomino had absolutely no idea of what people from the US were named!

Uh, Diethard (pronounced deet-hard) is an actual real German name.
Put down Millions Knives. There have been a ton of weird names in anime, but this one is always what comes to my mind because:
1) The double plural
2) The idea that you'd give someone the first name Millions
3) The idea that if you had to make up a last name, you would choose Knives. That's just destining him for supervillainy.

Still, when I saw "Welldone the Pussyhand", I had to vote for that one. |
I had a hard time choosing between that and Quatro Vagina. |
I actually needed to look up wether or not these names exist, and according to ANN, that character's name is "Quattro Bajeena", ditto for Wikipedia. It's pronunciation is probably similar, but if that's not the characters real name, then "Welldone the Pussyhand" obviously has to win that tie.

Whaaat, Sorata Kanda isn't here? His affinity for cats is the reason he landed in juveni- I mean, Sakurasou.

It's kind of a tossup - in Japanese materials, the name was actually romanized in that unfortunate fashion, but slightly more knowledgeable heads prevailed in America.
It still doesn't explain Jamitov Hymen and Paptimus Scirocco, though.

I really thought Rin Natsume from Little Busters would be on the list.
While far from the strangest, I didn't feel the poll would be complete without adding Might Guy of Naruto to the list.
There's a bunch of strange human names in the Japanese Transformers series, particularly the Godmasters which share their names with their robot forms. My favorite is a British kid named Road King (Lube in the English versions), but in Italy is known as Ghibli.

Sasuga Sakaki-san. Heheh, sorry for being a Weeaboo, it's just the perfect time to use that word. But yeah, somehow, I didn't even think of her, but she's the only one who could've taken that spot.

Al adopted ONE cat, and I wouldn't even say he "adopted" it.

Thought possibly Kei Nozaki from Cuticle Detective Inaba might have been on there. Guy is totally obsessed with cats.

I thought that too when I was looking through the list. Sure, he is allergic to them but he does love cats a LOT.

The first two strange names that come to my mind would be Satellizer from Freezing and Lilynette Gingerbuck from Bleach. If we were able to include manga then NaNaNa Najahkoop from Bleach would win hands down imo.
