I didn't expect it to be so melodramatic. The character designs, animation, and colors are nice. And the pop song fits well with the young adults, beach, and what not.

Definitely feels like a bit of a new direction for Yuasa, but I'm 1000% there for it. Can hardly wait. It looks beautiful.

Looks awesome!
Definitely seems to be one of Yuasa's more mainstream-friendly titles. Maybe it could be for him what 'Your Name' was for Shinkai? I certainly hope so! |

I was already in love with this movie when that amazing theme song started playing. The story looks so charming and the animation looks so breathtaking.
