Frankly, we need to be. We can't allow ourselves to become so desensitized to stuff like this that it starts to be treated as blasé and not worth talking about or dealing with.

It is reality, it happens. You can talk about it all you want, but it is still going to happen, because there are alot of evil people out there. The best you can do is put them in jail when you catch them.

Half of those credits are actually for a different Hidekazu Tanaka that just so happens to be lumped under his profile. The credits being for cinematography as opposed to music should've been clue enough to that.

Is absolutely not the best we can do, and this sort of outlook is exactly the sort of complacency I was talking about. Calling it out every single time it happens, making it known that this is 100% not acceptable as a means of educating people. Folks like this guy try and do get away with this crap because they are gambling that the rest of the world is complacent enough about this stuff that they can skirt away and not get caught, and that even when caught they can get away with some light, meaningless, punishment. We can all do better about not letting things like this just wash off our backs as simply being the way of the world.

Oh god dammit and he's the best composer for the franchise, it's like Act Age all over again, the franchise is now screwed in the one thing that's necessary for an idol franchise, good music. Thank god, there won't be a massive lost media headache on top of it (I hope).

This error is more an encyclopedia problem than an article problem. Some of it is caused by contributors not bothering to check the kanji name of Japanese people before adding credits, and some it is caused by the contribution system making it difficult for regular users to add different people with the same romanized name.
