Bandai Namco: Dragon Ball Xenoverse's Online Features Are Not Shut Down

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

Bandai Namco Entertainment clarified through its Twitter account that it was not shutting down online support for its Dragon Ball: Xenoverse fighting game on Tuesday. This is in response to reports of players receiving an in-game message on Tuesday, stating that online service for the game had "ended," and some of the game's features would be shut down.

Bandai Namco Entertainment unveiled the game in Japan in May 2014, and shipped the game in Japan, North America, and Europe in February for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. The game allows players to make their own custom character in the Dragon Ball universe and play through story mode or multiplayer.
